According to WRGC CBS 6 News Albany little is known in an hours long stand off at a home in Nassau, New York, just a short drive from Pittsfield.

The small town in Rensselaer County, known by most Berkshire County residents as the town not to speed through, is the site of an ongoing stand-off police stand off.

State Police tells the new outlet they received a call before 7 p.m. yesterday  and responded to a house in the area of the intersection of Route 20 and Schodack Nassau Rd in the Town of Nassau.

Although details are lacking, it's reported that State Police negotiators are actively engaging with someone inside the home.
