Pittsfield's bag ban goes into effect in 2020, and Pittsfield Bagshare, a part of Tyler St. lab, is hard at work to make 15,000 reusable bags before the ban begins.
Guido's Fresh Marketplace in Pittsfield and Great Barrington has been known for a few celebrity sightings over the years. (Joshua Jackson, Rachel Maddow, and Meryl Streep, to name a few).
On Tuesday afternoon, NCIS star Mark Harmon was spotted helping make a reusable bag! See below.
Ya, it was really cool. Mark and his wife Pan Dawber were shopping and stopped because they were curious about what we were doing. I asked Mark if he wanted to make a bag with me. He did and took it with him! Such a nice man. I think they were pretty impressed by the BagShare. All in a days work of saving the planet! -Kate Lauzon
