North Adams Man Held on Bail For Alleged Pornography Charges
A North Adams man was arraigned in Berkshire Superior Court Tuesday morning on child pornography charges.
According to the Berkshire County District Attorney's Office, 43-year-old Anthony Deordio had pleas of not guilty entered on his behalf on three counts of knowingly possessing visual material of a child depicted in sexual conduct.
Judge Daniel Ford ordered that he be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $2,500 bail. It has been alleged that Deordio was in possession of child pornography from January to March 2018.
The DA's office did not state when Deordio would appear in court again. The investigation was conducted by members of the North Adams Police Department and State Troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire Law Enforcement Task Force.
