‘Oldies But Goodies’ To Benefit Pittsfield Parade
Interest in or attendance for Pittsfield's Fourth of July Parade is not on the decline; however, it's getting harder and harder to raise money for, according to Peter Marchetti. It takes upwards of $85,000 to put on the parade every year.
Besides asking for donations every year, their are two main fundraisers for the parade. The Drum and Bugle Corps at Wahconah Park and "Oldies But Goodies".
You can see Oldies But Goodies "Still Rock n Roll To Me" tonight (Nov. 16) and tomorrow night (Nov. 17) at Reid Middle School in Pittsfield. Both shows start at 7 p.m. and can hear all the good stuff from the '60s, '70s, and '80s.
All proceeds benefit the Pittsfield Fourth Of July Parade. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online at www.pittsfieldparade.com or at Alliance Appliance on Fenn St, Miller Supply on West St or Wood Bros in Allendale.
