Every Wednesday at 8:30 Slater and I are joined by John Perreault, Executive Director of the Berkshire Humane Society to discuss all the happenings at their Barker Road facility, plus talk about their Pet of the Week.

This week's pet is Bear, an orange 9-year-old domestic shorthair mix tiger cat. Bear is a big boy and was brought to Berkshire Humane society because he was a bully to the other animals in this previous home. Although he is a grizzly to other animals, he is a teddy bear to people, albeit a bit shy at first. Like a teddy bear, you can sleep with him and he is a good lap cat. A home without other pets is a must for Bear and one without young children would be best.
