Pet of the Week: Meet May

Every Wednesday at 8:30 Slater and I are joined by John Perreault, Executive Director of the Berkshire Humane Society to discuss all the happenings at their Barker Road facility, plus talk about their Pet of the Week.

This week's Pet of the Week is May.  She is a two to three year old female pit bull mix. Despite coming from a previous abusive situation, May is a resilient dog eager to love and be loved. She is a little skittish because of her past, but once she warms up shes all cuddles. May knows basic commands and rides well in the car. Due to her size, she is best suited for children over 10 years old. The best home for her would be one without other dogs or cats. Shelter employees hope someone will adopt this sweet lovebug soon.
