Pittsfield Downtown Cleanup Slated For May 18

Downtown Pittsfield Inc. has announced this year's date for the annual Pittsfield downtown cleanup.

Friday, May 18, between 1:30 and 4:00 businesses all throughout the downtown will be volunteering their time to sweep and pick up trash.

All teams should send one representative around 1:30PM to Downtown Pittsfield Inc. at 33 Dunham Mall to check in.

Please help by bringing rakes and brooms; however, garbage bags will be provided. Teams are reminded to wear gloves and clothing appropriate for outdoors, and to bring drinking water as well.

Cleanup will conclude with teams meeting at J. Allen's around 4:00PM for food, cash bar, and awards.
