Pittsfield Fire Department Warns, ‘Ice Is Never 100% Safe’ [PHOTOS]

The Pittsfield Fire Department held an ice water rescue training on Thursday at Pontoosuc Lake.

Deputy Chief Dan Garner warns winter sports enthusiasts on the lakes and ponds this year, "Ice is never 100% safe. If you have any questions regarding bodies of water in your city or town, consult your local sportsmen's club or fire department."
