Pittsfield Police Make Arrest For Mobil Mart Armed Robbery

The Mobil Mart on North St. in Pittsfield was robbed at knifepoint on Wednesday around 8:30 p.m.

On Thursday evening, Pittsfield Police arrested Douglas Slier, Jr., age 33 of Pittsfield without incident. Slier quickly developed as a suspect in the Wednesday evening’s armed robbery of Mobile Mart on North Street in Pittsfield.

Slier is charged with 1 count of Armed Robbery and will be arraigned today at Central Berkshire District Court.

Members of the Patrol Division, Detective Bureau, Crime Scene Services, and Anti-Crime Unit all contributed to the investigation.
