As the nice weather continues this week, more streets and sidewalks are getting a facelift in the City of Pittsfield.

The following work is scheduled for Sept. 20- 24, as part of the City of Pittsfield’s 2021 Street Improvement Project.

The schedule is as follows: Monday, Sept. 20 – Tuesday, Sept. 21: removal of curbing and excavation on Gordon Street. Wednesday, Sept. 22: excavation of sidewalks on Hawthorne Avenue. Thursday, Sept. 23 – Friday, Sept. 24: driveway excavation and paving on Malcolm Avenue and Dexter, Dillon, and Huron streets.

On-street parking is prohibited during this work between the hours of 6 a.m.-6 p.m. each day.
