Pittsfield’s Ian Benoit Awarded Scholarship

Slater was live from Planet Fitness in Pittsfield on Tuesday when Pittsfield's Ian Benoit was presented a check for $5000 for winning the Planet Fitness "Judgement Free Generation Scholarship". This presentation was in association with the Boys and Girls Club.

While some awards and scholarships can associate themselves with academic or athletic achievement, this was presented in the spirit of teens who spread acceptance, positivity, and anti-bullying.

Benoit was one of thirty teens who received the scholarship.
