If you were a kid in Berkshire County during the '80s and early '90s, you more than likely spent some time playing the classic Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). Figuring out how to defeat Bowser in Super Mario Bros. or how to shoot that duck (no matter how close you pointed the gun toward the TV) in Duck Hunt probably took up some of your time during summer vacation and the school year, much to your parents' chagrin.

The one game that took up much of my time was Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! While I loved the other games, I was absorbed in that game and was eventually able to beat Tyson. Whether I punched my way through each character or used the passcode (007-373-5963) to get to the final level, I would eventually cross paths with Tyson, though he usually kicked my butt a majority of the time.

I still play the game to this day. I have an NES unit in my basement and every so often will dig out the game and give it a punch. I forgot how difficult it is to defeat Tyson. I guess that's why they call him the "baddest man on the planet."

What About Little Mac's Punch Out Nightmare?

Now I believe this has been on YouTube for a while, but I just discovered it this morning. The channel 8-Bits Thick created and shared a Punch-Out!! spoof entitled Little Mac's Punch Out Nightmare and features horror movie villains as Mac's opponents, including Freddy, Jason, Pennywise, and Predator. It is an absolute hoot. I wish I could buy and play this game. I had to stop what I was doing at work and watch the whole thing, and I have a feeling you will too.

I love it when it's Pennywise's turn to battle Mac, and Doc takes one look at the clown and runs for it. That is fantastic. Then again, was it all a dream? By the way, there is a part 2 featuring Donald Trump as Mac's opponent. Check it out below.
