It is unfortunate that the Berkshire Mall continues to be discussed in such a negative tone.

Of course, we would love for the mall to bring in new stores and have it flourish to wonderful levels to turn this way of thinking around. At this point, as positive as we would all like to be, and this isn't saying anything is definite, The Berkshires may have to prepare for a change.

Live 95.9 has been a part of many amazing events at the mall -- Malloween, the Mall-I-Day Madness Game Show, Take Home a Highlander broadcasts, Berkshire Home, Garden and Outdoor Expo and a lot more.

With Lanesborough officials preparing to begin an alternative use study for the area, public input will be a major catalyst in figuring out what can be changed, improved, or done next.
