Some Virtual Comic Relief Coming To The Berkshires To Benefit COVID Fund
Marjo and I always talk about our love for stand-up comedy. Katt Williams. Bill Burr. Jim Gaffigan. Sebastian Maniscalco. I mean come on! Who doesn't love good comic relief?
I know we're not at a point where we can gather indoors, and it's still too cold outside, so.....
Entrepreneurship for All (EforAll) Berkshire County is collaborating with 1Berkshire for an April Fool’s Comedy program to benefit the Berkshire County Covid Relief Fund run by Berkshire United Way and the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation.
Punnily named “EfoolsAll and FunBerkshire,” the event will be presented by the Laugh Dealers, recent graduates of EforAll Berkshire County’s Business Accelerator program. The show will include the duo’s signature “digital impersonations” and four nationally-known stand-up comedians:
● Steven Rogers (Late Show with Stephen Colbert)
● Seth Brown (High Mud Comedy Fest at MassMOCA)
● Isabel Hagen (The Tonight Show)
● Adam Mamawalla (Comedy Central)

About the COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund for Berkshire County: The COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund for Berkshire County is co-led by Berkshire United Way and Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation, and supported by many philanthropic businesses and organizations. It is a collaborative initiative designed to efficiently distribute resources to Berkshire County nonprofits working on the front lines with communities who are disproportionately impacted by the coronavirus and the economic consequences of the pandemic. Grants are designed to address gaps in services and increase capacity of organizations to meet basic needs of individuals and families across Berkshire County. To date, over $3M has been granted to over 100 different nonprofits providing food, housing, childcare, and other important services.
