
South County Connector Will Reduce Service Hours Starting This Week
Folks who rely on the South County Connector for transportation will need to adjust their schedules, as the South County Connector will be reducing service hours beginning this Thursday (7/23).
Why is the South County Connector Reducing Service Hours?
The reduction in service hours is due to a temporary staffing shortage, and the adjustment will begin this Thursday (7/23).
What Will the New Schedule Look Like and How Long Will This Temporary Change Be in Effect?
Hours will change from 6:00 am–9:00 pm daily to 6:30 am–5:00 pm, and the reduced hours are expected to remain in effect at least through September 30.
Are There Any Service Hours That Are Not Affected by the South County Connector's Temporary Change?
Trips between 6:30 am and 5:00 pm are not affected. The change reduces early morning service before 6:30 am and evening service after 5:00 pm.

Which Areas of Berkshire County Does the South County Connector Serve?
The South County Connector service includes the towns of Egremont, Great Barrington, Monterey, Stockbridge, West Stockbridge, New Marlborough, and Sheffield. There is also limited service to Pittsfield, MA, and Canaan, CT.
