Friday night at approximately 9:19 p.m., the Pittsfield Police Dept., Pittsfield Fire Dept. and County Ambulance responded to the area of 639 South St, The Pittsfield Country Club, for a report of a motor vehicle collision resulting in personal injury.

A 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee operated by Mr. Blarry Sanchez of Lenox, MA was traveling south bound on South St when his vehicle collided with the rear of a south bound 2017 Nissan Maxima operated by a Ms. Taylor Marion of Pittsfield.

As a result of this collision, Ms. Marion’s vehicle was directed into the North bound lane where she collided with a 2018 Toyota Rav Four operated by Mr. Kermit Pruyne of Washington, MA.

In addition to Ms. Marion, three other occupants of her vehicle were transported to BMC for what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries. Mr. Pruyne and a second occupant in his vehicle were also transported to BMC for minor injuries. No injuries were reported for occupants of the Sanchez vehicle.

South St was closed to through traffic for approximately 2 hours while the crash investigation was being conducted.
