Spring Arrives Tomorrow; Warmer Temps Coming To The Berkshires
The vernal equinox (spring) arrives on Saturday, and the forecast is reflective of Spring-like temperatures. So, what is spring?
Spring is the season of new beginnings. Fresh buds bloom, animals awaken and the earth seems to come to life again. Farmers and gardeners plant their seeds and temperatures slowly rise.
The Weather Channel 5 day forecast calls for:
Saturday: Sunny skies. High 52F. Winds WNW at 10 to 15 mph.
Sunday: Sunny. High 59F. Winds light and variable.
Monday: Plentiful sunshine. High around 60F. Winds S at 5 to 10 mph.
Tuesday: Generally sunny despite a few afternoon clouds. High 58F. Winds ENE at 5 to 10 mph
Wednesday: Rain showers in the morning becoming more intermittent in the afternoon. High 56F. Winds ESE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 40%.
I mean, the Wednesday forecast may change to sunny by then, right?
So what else is awesome about spring?
Spring is also the beginning of baseball! Fenway Park (if you're a Red Sox fan) will be open at least in the beginning at 12% capacity.
