ABC News10 meteorologist and animal activist, Steve Caporizzo, brings his show, Pet Connection, to the Berkshire Humane Society on May 3rd, and the shelter invites you to join them.

This Thursday, from 4 pm to 7 pm, the Humane Society on Barker Road in Pittsfield, will opens it's doors for a live broadcast of Steve Caporizzo's Pet Connection, a show which spotlights homeless animals from around The Berkshires and the Capital Region, in hopes of finding them a forever home. The episode will feature pets available for adoption from BHS. Pet Connection airs on ABC News 10 and is also available to watch online.

Haddad Subaru, longtime supporters of BHS, will also be at the shelter to present a Share the Love donation check. For the past 11 years, the Subaru Share the Love event has benefited the Humane Society.  November though January, Subaru donates $250 for every vehicle sold, to the customers choice of one of five charities.  Tickets for the annual Subaru Car Raffle, benefiting BHS, will be available for purchase as well.

In addition to hosting Pet Connection with BHS shelter pets, there will be a coloring contest for children, offering prizes and judged by Steve Caporizzo.  Visitors are encouraged to view artwork by local artists and will have an opportunity to become a Compassionate Caregiver. There will also be refreshments and raffles available.
