Berkshires towns

When you think of Massachusetts, there's a good chance the first city, town, or region you would think of is Boston, Cape Cod, Salem, Cambridge, or Nantucket/Martha's Vineyard. There are definitely lots of other great spots throughout the state that I'm leaving out. But what about some of those other places around the Bay State that don't necessarily get the notoriety. Those are the more underrated places around the state. It just so happens that the Berkshires is home to not one, but four of those spots.

While we've definitely had more than our fair share of precipitation in the Berkshires this Summer, we're still only about half way through the season, so, for time when it feels more seasonal, you can make plans for some potential travel. That being said, it would also be a nice time to just chill. As it just so happens, the Berkshires is home to three of the best small towns in all of Massachusetts to chill out.

If there is one thing that there is definitely no shortage of throughout all of Massachusetts, it is plenty of charming small towns. Not a lot of states have that luxury. In fact, in most states, when you think small towns, it's could end up being more of a desolate ghost town. Luckily, that's not the case in the Bay State. And it just so happens that two of those most charming small towns in Massachusetts are right here in the Berkshires.

It's always nice to get recognition from reputable sources. If you live in the Berkshires, you're already well aware that we have some pretty pretty unique small towns throughout the region. However, when you have a spot that is listed as a top 'Must-Visit Small Town' by a popular travel source, that's even better.

No matter how quick you feel like 2023 might be moving, it can seem like the time it takes to get to those amazing Summer months is just dragging! That's why when they get here, some places in Massachusetts come to life more than others. It just so happens that two of those unique spots happen to be in the Berkshires.

No matter where you go in the Berkshires, more often than not, it seems like you will end up in a town that is at least relatively aesthetically pleasing. Several cities and towns in Massachusetts are known for having a pretty great look to them. This stems from the incredibly rich history that the Bay State has. But it just so happens that two towns within the Berkshires were recently named as some of the 'Most Picturesque Towns in Massachusetts'.
