If you live anywhere in the New England region, you're probably already extremely familiar with lots of fantastic cities and towns that you have around you. And of course, at the heart of the New England region, there is Massachusetts. Even during the Fall months, there's always a great time for your next great road trip. It just so happens that here in the Bay State, there are several great downtown areas throughout Massachusetts to take in.

I almost get the feeling that I'm somehow closer to these people because their hometowns are in my state, you know?

If you're one of the lucky few who doesn't have enough going on in your daily life to scare the hell out of you, you can always take a road trip!

Are you ready to hang up all that workday drudgery and start enjoying the good life? Want your "golden years" to begin NOW? To sum up, are you ready to retire?

Despite sharing many of the same issues, certain cities across the country are much better maintained than others. How do some cities fare better than others?

There's no question that Massachusetts has plenty of great cities that are excellent travel destinations. But what about the best cities to live in? It's always nice to get recognized for something on a national level. As it turns out, the Bay State is home to one of the best cities to live in the U.S.

Would you believe that a city right here in Massachusetts made the 25 Roach-Infested Cities in America list? I kid you not.

Massachusetts has some of the most unique town names of any state in the U.S. And that's actually an understatement. Some town names are so distinctively unique that plenty of residents don't even know how to pronounce them. There's also towns in the Bay State begin with the four directions: North, East, West, and South. There are even 19 towns throughout the Bay State that end in 'ham'. But throughout all the crazy, unique, eccentric, and bizarre town names in Massachusetts, some just don't sound like they are towns that should exist in the Bay State whatsoever!

Massachusetts is a great state which features many beautiful cities that one would be happy to call home.
