Just a few days ago, we were enjoying temperatures in the upper 40's to near 60 degrees.   While warmer temperatures are coming back later on this week, Mother Nature has decided to play "Welcome to a New England winter" once again.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch between Noon on Tuesday, until Noon on Wednesday. Anywhere from 4-8 inches of that fluffy white stuff is expected to land in The Berkshires.

The biggest concern is visibility for those commutes to and from work.

"A Winter Storm Watch means there is potential for significant
snow, sleet or ice accumulations that may impact travel," says the National Weather Service.

Residents are asked to monitor weather conditions throughout the day to keep on top of this latest storm. We will keep you updated throughout the day with any closings, cancellations and road condition information during Winter Watch.

For those looking for that positive, silver lining - temperatures are expected to reach the 40's this weekend, along with sunshine, as opposed to the sideways pouring rain we got on Friday.
