‘The First Of Its Kind'; Toyota, With Help From Haddad, Chooses Taconic HS For Auto Pilot Program

Together, Pittsfield Public Schools, Toyota and Haddad Motor Group will implement a pilot program to prepare Auto Technology students as Maintenance Certified Toyota Technicians.

The first of its kind in the nation, Auto Technology students will take training modules to obtain an industry-recognized credential, participate in cooperative education and have advanced career opportunities as graduates.

Students will attend training at Toyota’s regional headquarters in Mansfield, Mass., and additional on-site training, program supports and resources will be provided throughout the year by Toyota staff.
