What if I told you you could get paid to eat one of the trendiest (and healthiest) foods in the world? No, seriously.  Researchers at Tufts University in Boston want to pay you to eat avocados every day for six months straight.

According to the University's Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging, the study is part of the The "Habitual Diet and Avocado Trial" which is currently being conducted at Tufts and three other universities across the country, Penn State, UCLA, and Loma Linda University in California. The study is looking for men and women ages 25 and older to eat one avocado every day and partake in tests that include one screening visit, between 8 and 15 study sessions for clinical information, and four 24-hour dietary recalls.

People who complete the initial screening will get $25, and for those who finish the entire six month study will receive a payment of $1,045.  However, researchers say there are a few restrictions, including those who have known chronic disease, are pregnant, cannot undergo an MRI, or just plain don't like avocados.

This could legitimately be my dream job, as long as I can put the avocado on something. I can't do it straight, it needs to be on toast, a salad, something, it's a texture thing. It's really not a bad deal, when you break it down based on a month having an average of 30 days, that's 180 avocados, just about $5.80 per fruit. Who's signing up?
