Where to Vote In Berkshire County
It's Primary Election Day in Massachusetts and for Berkshire County it marks some of the most hotly contested primary races in recent memory.
Certainly in The Berkshires, the race for District Attorney has been highly publicized, but the three way contest between sitting D.A. Paul Caccaviello, and local attorneys Andrea Harrington and Judith Knight, is not the only one on the ballot. Overshadowed by the publicity of the race for the County's top prosecutor, equally as important is the race for State Senate, between incumbent Adam Hinds, and Lee Selectman Thomas Wickham. In addition, voters in the Commonwealth will select Democratic and Republican candidates for Governor. On the Republic side, incumbent Charlie Baker will face off against Springfield Minister Scott Lively. In the Democratic primary, Jay Gonzalez and Robert Massie will be competing for a spot on the ballot in November.
In state and federal elections, polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Municipal elections times may vary.
