Emergency crews in Connecticut are searching for a missing Berkshire County man.

Townsquare Media Berkshire station WSBS received a phone call on Wednesday morning alerting them that 60-year-old German Perez, who resides in Ashley Falls, has been missing since Tuesday night. The call came from Perez's son Carlos, who stated that when he spoke to his father, he said he would "be home in 10 minutes."

Perez was reportedly driving home from his job at Hotchkiss School in Lakeville, CT. According to a report from FOX 61 in Connecticut, crews began searching the Housatonic River for Perez and his vehicle -- a 2000 black Toyota Tundra. FOX 61 is reporting that they have located the submerged vehicle as of 2:16 p.m.

The search began Tuesday night but was hampered by muddy waters and floating debris and was suspended until Wednesday morning.

As of now, Perez has not been found. Here is a photo of the missing man, which was a family photo shared with WSBS:

If you happen to see German Perez, or have any information, please contact your local police department.
