If you are a Spectrum cable subscriber, you may have noticed that you are without another channel.

On Wednesday morning, WCVB Boston, channel 5, was pulled from lineups across Berkshire County. Last year, the cable provider also pulled WWLP channel 22 from the Spectrum lineup.

Since the news came out, State Rep. John Barrett, Senator Adam Hinds, Rep. Smitty Pignatelli and others have rallied Berkshire County against these moves from Spectrum. As a matter of fact, a petition has been filed to bring the networks back to Spectrum cable screens. Hinds expressed his disappointment, once more, on Wednesday.

"This week, Charter Spectrum Cable plans to remove a 2nd Massachusetts news TV station from the Berkshires," Hinds stated. "This impacts our ability to stay updated on decisions in Boston that impact the region.

"The Berkshires are Western Mass, NOT East Albany!"

If you would like to participate, the group who created the petition are looking for at least 1,000 signatures, although Barrett believes "should be more like 7,500." You can sign the petition at this link here.

With that, let's see what the community has to say about all of this. Take our poll below, and if you believe that Spectrum should bring back the two channels we have lost in Berkshire County, sign the petition above.
