A Lenox woman suffered non life threatening injuries in a single car crash yesterday evening.

According to a tweet from the Pittsfield Police Department, a Toyota Tacoma was traveling northbound when the driver lost control of her vehicle, went off the road and crashed into the Berkshire County Realty Company building at 338 South Street. At the point police announced the temporary closing of South Street.


The Berkshire Eagle confirmed that the driver of the 2002 Toyota Tacoma was Sabrina Salvatore of Lenox, who was traveling northbound at about 6:40 pm when the crash occurred. Salvatore was transported to Berkshire Medical Center for treatment. The real estate building sustained considerable damage in the crash and the investigation is on going.
