Every Wednesday at 8:30 we're joined by John Perreault, Executive Director of the Berkshire Humane Society to discuss all the happenings at their Barker Road facility, plus talk about their Pet of the Week.

This week's Pet of the Week is Luna, a black 1.5-year-old female husky/pit bull mix who has been at Berkshire Humane Society since the end of October. She was surrendered because her owner did not have a home where they could keep her.

Luna is a sensitive young gal who is looking for a quiet home to call her own. She's a sweet dog who loves meeting new people and snuggling up for hours of cuddles. She can also be very active and would love a home that allows her to get out and go running.

Luna is very clever, but has not been taught many house manners and will need a dedicated owner who can show her the ropes. She's well-started on house training but still pulls when on leash and jumps when meeting new people. She can be quite loud and will need someone who will teach her to use her inside voice or embrace her lovely singing voice.

If you'd like to meet Luna, please call 413-447-7878, extension 126.
