Get Your Snow Boots, Shovels Ready Berkshire County
It has been a strange winter in the Berkshires thus far, but it seems like business will be picking up later on this week in the form of some snow hitting the area.
Sure, we have had a couple days where we got some accumulative snow fall, but if weather reports are accurate, and that's a big "if", Wednesday will be a day to get your snow boots, snow shovels and anything winter related ready to go.
Between multiple websites, there have been conflicting predictions. Accuweather is predicting 3 to 6 inches of snow, mixed with ice, which could make things very slippery. Weather.com, which I feel has been historically more accurate, is predicting 6 to 11 inches of snow to hit our fine area.
No matter who ends up being right, it seems that Wednesday will not be a fun day, or night, to be traveling if you don't have to. Make sure you keep your radios on Live 95.9 throughout the day on Wednesday and we will keep you updated on any closings, cancellations and road conditions.
