The Adams Street Fair Committee Continues The Month Of August With Free Movies Under The Stars
Growing up in Adams, I cherish memories of spending Friday nights at town hall with my dad during summer, waiting for sunset and the movie to begin.
Back then, I recall arriving early to secure a good seat, since the place was usually crowded on Friday movie nights. It was also common that if you missed a movie in theaters the previous year, it would often be shown again the following year, provided it had a G or PG rating.

Adams Street Fair Committee: Free Movies Under the Stars 2026
Although movie nights at the town hall lawn are a thing of the past, Free Movies Under the Stars continues at the Adams Visitor Center lawn at 3 Hoosac St. in Adams. This tradition is maintained through the dedicated efforts of the Adams Street Fair Committee, which hosts numerous events throughout the year for Adams and nearby areas. Their dedication is well recognized, and the community values all their contributions.
If you're searching for an affordable and enjoyable summer activity for the entire family, Free Movies Under the Stars is the perfect choice. And there's still plenty of time left.
