Keep Our Kids Warm In The Berkshires This Winter Here Is How

This has been something that we have worked on that is near and dear to our hearts here at WUPE for years. With this not only beginning of Fall Into winter, but we all also have to deal with covid and lots of families still struggling.

What can you do to help if you can make a monetary donation to the BCAC Warm Clothing Program. This will allow BCAC to stock Its inventory for the winter with brand new coats, boots, and warm clothing. The expert shoppers at BCAC look for the best deals to stretch each dollar further to provide the most for our children:

$25 would buy a brand new winter outfit for a child
$50 would buy a winter coat, hat, scarf, and mittens
$75 would buy a winter coat and warm boots
$100 would buy a coat, boot, outfit, and scarf, hat, and mittens

Purchase a brand new item of clothing for a child aged 0-12. They accept brand new boots, coats, and winter outfits all year long for our Warm Clothing Season.

You can also “Sponsor-a-child” by age. For those who enjoyed picking a tag off a “Giving Tree” or sponsor a child as a part of your holiday traditions, BCAC will send you a child by gender and age to shop for. Once your clothing has been purchased, we will schedule a contactless drop-off time at our office.
