Kindergarten Student Tests Positive for COVID-19 at Pine Cobble
Just days after a teacher at Pine Cobble School tested positive for the novel coronavirus, a second adult and now a student have tested positive as well.
Sue Wells, head of the the small private school in Williamstown, confirmed to iBerkshires that no only a second adult staff member, but now a kindergarten student have tested positive for the virus.
Friday, after a kindergarten teacher tested positive for COVID-19, the school moved to an all remote learning model and encouraged the families of student in that class to get tested immediately.
Wells said the school will continue remote through Sept. 25, with a Yom Kippur school holiday already scheduled for Monday, Sept. 28. After that, Wells said, the school will return to in-person instruction.
