Little Known In Morning Stabbing

As police are still investigating a shooting that took place early Sunday morning, they now have an apparent stabbing on their hands.

According to The Berkshire Eagle one person was rushed to Berkshire Medical Center this morning with apparent stab wounds, as reported by police.

The victim was found on Madison Avenue just west of North Street about 10:45 a.m. It was unclear how serious their injuries were. Local Police investigators were on scene taping off the area in the frigid temperatures and State Police Crime Scene Services were on the scene as well.

UPDATE

The victim, whose name has not been released, was taken to Berkshire Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.

After a brief investigation, Nakesha Peltier-Tarrance, 27, was arrested and is being held on $10,000 bail. It is believed that she will be arraigned today and will be facing one count of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
