The "disco and new wave with a touch of funk" cover band, License To Groove, kicked off Live On The Lake Wednesday evening on the shores of Onota Lake. Yes, the Berkshires' largest free community concert series is back for its 17th season.

We feel very grateful to the coordinators of Live on the Lake for a wonderful kick off to the 17th season. The crowd and the band were lucky enough to enjoy one of the most beautiful evenings for the show as well.  -Garrett Lechowski

It was a picture perfect evening, sunny with temperatures hovering in the upper 70's. Families galore entered the grassy strip in front of the Controy Pavilion with their lawn chairs and some with swimming towels.

In addition to live music, folks were seen eating ice cream from Krispy Kones, getting free five minute massages from Mildred Elley, swimming, bouncy housing, playing Haddad cornhole for Live 95.9 tee shirts, and more!
