According to The Berkshire Eagle, a shooting in the Morningside area of Pittsfield sent one victim to Berkshire Medical Center for Treatment.

Pittsfield Police say that a man was shot multiple times at the corner on Parker Street near Springside Avenue last night.  Officers received a report of possible gunshot victim in a vehicle at around 10:50 p.m.

When investigators arrived they say the victim was conscious and alert inside of a blue Saturn SUV.  According to the periodical, the driver's side door of the vehicle was open and the driver's seat appeared to be covered in blood stains.

The victim was transported to Berkshire Medical Center for treatment.

Lt. Michael Maddalena told The Eagle that officers at the scene spoke with neighbors, who recounted other vehicles on Parker Street at the time of the shooting. He also added that Police did not receive a ShotSpotter notification in relation to the shooting.
