Every Wednesday at 8:30 we're joined by John Perreault, Executive Director of the Berkshire Humane Society to discuss all the happenings at their Barker Road facility, plus talk about their Pet of the Week.

This week's Pet of the Week is Kiera, a cute 11-year old purebred beagle who would make a great family dog. She came to Berkshire Humane Society because a family member became allergic to her. As a beagle, she loves sniffing, eating, and listening to the sound of her own voice! This friendly senior would likely do very well with small children and has lived with dogs in the past. Unfortunately, Kiera has Cushing’s Disease which means she needs to be on expensive medication for the rest of her life, but she has not let her illness slow her down one bit! If you are interested in meeting Kiera please call the kennel at (413) 447-7878 to make an appointment.
