Pet of the Week: Meet Popples
Every Wednesday at 8:30 we're joined by John Perreault, Executive Director of the Berkshire Humane Society to discuss all the happenings at their Barker Road facility, plus talk about their Pet of the Week.
This week's Pet of the Week is Popples. Popple is one of nine black cats that are available at Berkshire Humane Society. Often times black cats and dogs can subconsciously, or not so subconsciously, be overlooked by possible adopters. Popples is a sweet, petite girl who was surrendered to us because her owner did not have a home that allowed pets. Popples is not bothered by anything and is super easygoing. In her previous home she was living with a rabbit, so Popples is good with small animals, and shelter staff believes she would probably be OK with another cat or a cat-savvy dog. If you are interested in adopting Popples, please call 413-447-7878, extension 124.
To learn more about all the animals looking for their forever home, contact the Berkshire Humane Society at 214 Barker Road in Pittsfield, or give the shelter a call at (413) 447-7878 ext 126.
The Berkshire Humane Society is now back open to the public for regular hours with masks required and social distancing in place.
