Every Wednesday at 8:30 we're joined by John Perreault, Executive Director of the Berkshire Humane Society to discuss all the happenings at their Barker Road facility, plus talk about their Pet of the Week.

This week's Pet of the Week is Rosie, a 9-year-old spayed Boston Terrier. Rosie was brought to the shelter because her family got a new puppy that she did not get along with. Rosie is nearly blind, with one missing eye and can see only shadows out of the other. Because of this fact she gets very nervous when things are right in front of her face, and a rambunctious puppy was not a good fit. Rosie's vision however, does not dampen her sweet spirit. She loves people and attention and walks well on a leash. Because of her blindness, she should be the only pet in the home. Rosie is fully house-broken and would make a great companion for the right person!

The Berkshire Humane is now open to the public, adhering to all state guidelines.
