Pittsfield Man Wins $1M From A Lotto Ticket Bought At This Tyler St. Store
Some people are just lucky...or they just play the lottery a lot. A Pittsfield man has hit for a million dollars for the second time in just over 20 years!
Michael Rocca won a million dollars in May of 2000 and chose the 20-year payment option, collecting his final check in May of 2020, according to upi.com.
Slater and Marjo had the chance to speak with Dipak, an employee from Kirk's Variety and Hobby on Tyler St. in Pittsfield, who said Rocca purchased the $1,000,000 winning ticket "about a week ago".
The winning ticket was the Mass. Lottery's "4,000,000 Instant Jackpot" instant ticket game.
This time, Rocca chose the one-time lump sum of $650,000.
