Pot Store Mugging Suspect Held Without Bail After Dangerousness Hearing
The 21-year-old New York man accused of mugging a disabled customer in the parking lot of a Great Barrington marijuana dispensary has been ordered held without bail for 120 days. Investigators are still searching for a second suspect.
The Berkshire Eagle reports that Shane Adams, 21, of Pine City, N.Y., is being held after a dangerousness hearing Friday in Central Berkshire District Court, according to Great Barrington Police Chief William Walsh.
Adams was previously indicted in 2017 on multiple felony counts and second-degree menacing related to a shooting incident in Elmira, N.Y. In this current case Adams will face charges of unarmed robbery, and assault and battery on a disabled person.
