PPD Arrest Cumberland Farms Robbery Suspect

According to a release from the Pittsfield Police Department, yesterday, Thursday, November 21 shortly after 3:00 pm, members of the Pittsfield Police Department arrested 32-year-old Luis Mallett on a warrant charging him with one count of Armed Robbery. Mallett is suspected of committing an armed robbery that occurred at the Cumberland Farms convenience store located at 154 First Street during the early morning of Sunday, November 17. Mallett is not from the Pittsfield area and is believed to be homeless. The investigation and subsequent arrest were completed by members of the Pittsfield Police Department patrol division and detective bureau.
