Taconic Student Explains Why He Didn’t Participate in Walkout (Video)

Slater and I went over to Taconic High School on Tuesday morning for the student walkout  against gun violence.

It was very interesting to be a part of it all and see hundreds of students walk down Valentine Road. It was done very peacefully and very respectfully; not only with the students who marched, but also with one student who chose not to participate.

Full disclosure -- we received this student's name, who is a senior at Taconic High School, but we will choose not to reveal it without a discussion with his parents. However, he spoke to us, and other members of the media to discuss why he decided not to join the protest.
