If you live in New England, you're already well aware of some pretty amazing cities and towns that you have around you. It's one of the main reasons why the region is always so popular in terms of vacation destinations. As Summer winds down, perhaps you might look at some destinations to travel to during the upcoming Fall season. And with those specific destinations, there happen to be several great downtown areas throughout Massachusetts to take note of.

Massachusetts town names tend to have a certain uniqueness about them. Usually, as soon as we hear and/or read the name of a town, even if we don't know where it is, we know if that is a town in the Bay State. It just so happens that if you were to mention any town that ends with 'ham', there is a good chance that town exists in Massachusetts given just how many there are of them.

While Massachusetts is well known for its rich history and culture, you may tend to think of the bigger cities throughout the Bay State when you think of it. Certainly cities such as Boston, Salem, Springfield, and more get plenty of love, but what about the smaller towns throughout the state that have some of the most beauty you will find anywhere throughout the state. It just so happens that one town in the Berkshires was very much worth of being known as one of the prettiest in Massachusetts.

Did you ever take a road trip with your family when you were a kid and suddenly you saw a road sign(perhaps a town limits sign) that just made you chuckle?

No matter where you go in the Berkshires, more often than not, it seems like you will end up in a town that is at least relatively aesthetically pleasing. Several cities and towns in Massachusetts are known for having a pretty great look to them. This stems from the incredibly rich history that the Bay State has. But it just so happens that two towns within the Berkshires were recently named as some of the 'Most Picturesque Towns in Massachusetts'.

Correct pronunciation is important! No one ever wants to mispronounce anything, ever. It can totally bring a conversation to a halt. Typically, before you even attempt to pronounce something that you're not exactly sure about, the best thing to do is ask someone else. Or maybe just Google it, duh! It just so happens that Massachusetts has more than a few cities and towns that are mispronounced quite often.

This week in Massachusetts is looking to be one of the hotter weeks (so far) this Summer. While we're currently looking at high temperatures hitting in the mid to upper 80s throughout the week and even hotter in some spots throughout the Bay State, there are certainly some warmer spots than others. So, where are the warmest cities and towns in Massachusetts traditionally?

I must say that anytime a Berkshire County town gets mentioned in a positive way in some nationwide study, ranking, or poll, it makes me incredibly happy!

No one likes to have the title of the most boring city in any state. It would be a downer for any city to even show up on a list of the most boring cities in Massachusetts. Despite the fact it's not officially Summer, we have hit the Summer months in Massachusetts.
