Summer in the Berkshires is in full swing and that means lots of amazing outdoor events, including the return of Tanglewood in the City.

Tanglewood in the City is back at The First Street Common in downtown Pittsfield! For the fourth year in a row, Mill Town Capital has teamed up with the Boston Symphony Orchestra and Tanglewood Center for the Arts for a free screening of a Tanglewood performance this Friday, July 22nd at The Common.

Things kick off at 6:00 p.m. with a pre-concert performance by Kids 4 Harmony, The Eagles Trombone Ensemble, and some family-friendly activities from local community partners including some surprise giveaways.

The Boston Symphony Orchestra performance will kick off at 7:30 on the jumbo screen and will feature Carlos Simon Motherboxx Connection, Barber Knoxville Summer of 1915, Ellington New World A-Coming, and Gershwin An American in Paris.

Folks are encouraged to bring friends and family and a picnic as we bring the magic of the Tanglewood lawn experience to downtown Pittsfield, MA.
