Tom Brady addressed the media on Friday afternoon the way you would've expected him to.

The second the New England Patriots star QB hit the podium, he was asked about his injured right hand and responded in the typical Patriot way.

"I'm not talking about it," Brady said during his press conference at Gillette Stadium.

Patriots fans have been waiting with bated breath on any positive news regarding Brady's status for Sunday's AFC Championship game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Brady injured his right throwing hand during Wednesday's practice and, according the NFL.com, the x-rays came up negative.

Brady was asked whether, or not, he expects to play in the game on Sunday and gave an answer everyone has been accustomed to hearing with "TB12" is on the injury report.

"We'll see," Brady said with the smirk of my 4-year-old son who just opened the refrigerator when he was told not to.

After refusing to speak to the media on Wednesday and Thursday, for those like me who have the "glass half full" mentality, Brady showing up to the podium today, Under Armour gloves and all, is a positive sign. Of course, the next couple of days will see Patriots fans locked into the latest injury reports. Either way, you can listen to the AFC Championship game on our sister station, AM1420 WBEC.
