This past weekend there were two reports of gun fire, following an altercation at a Pittsfield bar, leaving one man injured.

The Berkshire Eagle reports that according to Pittsfield Police, an altercation that took place at Zen's Pub on Tyler Street, was followed by two separate shooting incidents.

The first set of shots were fired around midnight on Tyler Street, less than 50 yards away from the bar. When police officers arrived at Zen's, Sgt. Gary Belknap said they found a man bleeding from his arm, however the injury did not appear to be a gunshot wound.

About half an hour later, ShotSpotter, the city's gunfire detection system, identified shots fired at the corner of Onota and Linden streets. Investigators say it's unclear if the incidents were connected.  Officers found shell casings near the corner of the two West side streets, and a male suspect fled the area on foot.

This is the second shooting in the area of  Zen's Pub in the past month.
