With a steady influx of COVID-19 information reflecting local, state, and federal updates and resources, the City of Pittsfield has streamlined its COVID-19 page to allow for ease of use and enhanced access to data through its new Community Impact Dashboard.

“We know that our mitigation efforts around COVID-19 are for the long haul. In this ever-changing landscape, it’s important that our community has consistent and reliable information to keep them informed through these very difficult times,” said Mayor Linda Tyer.

The COVID-19 site, available at www.cityofpittsfield.org, now features regularly updated videos, including weekly messages from Mayor Tyer and public service announcements. All other resources and information on the COVID-19 page are categorized according to its relevance on the city, county, state, and federal level.

Since its implementation on March 23, the Community Impact Dashboard continues to attract a high volume of traffic, averaging upwards of 2,000 visitors a day. The dashboard, which is updated every afternoon each day, features maps and data specifically pertaining to Pittsfield. This includes the number of active cases, confirmed cases, deaths, tests administered, local closures, meal sites, and other resources. Data is compiled from information from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Berkshire Medical Center, and various community partners.

The site also includes a COVID-19 subscription link and a sign up for CodeRED, the city’s emergency notification system. For more information, please contact Roberta McCulloch-Dews, Director of Administrative Services, Office of the Mayor, 413-499-9322
