A Springfield man was arraigned Wednesday afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on several charges before Judge John Agostini.

The Berkshire County District Attorney's Office said in a release that 24-year-old Anthony Serrano had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf one count of motor vehicle homicide while under the influence of drugs and operating negligently, along with one count of operating under the influence of drugs causing serious personal injury and operating negligently. Serrano was released on personal recognizance.

Serrano was alleged to be operating the motor vehicle that crashed into another vehicle in Windsor back in April 2017. Local radio personality Daron Reynolds, 31, was killed and a 28-year-old woman suffered serious injuries as a result of the crash.

The DA's office did not say when the next court hearing would take place for Serrano.
