Holiday Pics For Pets To Support Berkshire Humane Society

Parents of Fur Babies everywhere love getting that perfect holiday pic to share with their friends and family, but it's never easy. A downtown Pittsfield business wants you to help you out with a unique and festive holiday pet photo and it's all in support of The Berkshire Humane Society.

The Garden, a locally owned skate, snowboard, BMX and apparel shop, is offering holiday pet portraits on Saturday, November 17 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Stop by their shop at 148 North Street with your pet on November 17 and have your dog or cat (or lizard) pose in front of a festive wall of decorated skateboards. Photos will be emailed for you to print, post or turn into a holiday card.  Fun and festive holiday accessories will be provided to dress up your furry friends. Forget deck the halls, how about deck your pet.

The best part about this unique photo op is that all funds raised will go directly to the Berkshire Humane Society.  The humane society has been helping animals in The Berkshires for over 25 years, and has recently assumed responsibility for stray animals for the city of Pittsfield.  The shelter solely survives on independent donations.  Suggested donations are $5 for you and your pet, or $10 for a family photo.
