17 summers of Live on The Lake have brought a lot bands to the shores on Onota Lake in Pittsfield.  Many of those bands are fan favorites who have been gracing the stage for years, but I always get excited when we welcome a new band to the line-up. Let me tell you, Blind Smudge did not disappoint.

With members hailing from The Berkshires, Northampton and Simsbury, Connecticut, many of them had never even attended Live on the Lake, but you would never know they went in blindly. The five piece classic rock band wowed the crowd with classics like Rolling Stones Beast of Burden, Guns n' Roses Sweet Child of Mine, an awesome cover of Sinead O'Connor's Nothing Compares 2U that lead singer Kim nailed, and wrapped up the show with one of the best covers of Highway to Hell I've ever seen at Live on the Lake, and believe me it's been played, A LOT.
